LANGUAGE SUPPORT
3.5" FULL COLOUR LCD
The CL6NX Industrial Label Printer has a built in 3.5 Inch full colour LCD screen with clear and crisp image that provides high quality operating and real-time messages. Videos can be displayed on the large screen guide the operator through label loading and other functions.
NEW MENU
The Sato® CL6NX has a new menu design that utilises an icon system as used in many popular consumer devices making navigation through the printer’s wide range settings, applications and system information much quicker, eliminating time consuming system setups.
BLUE LED INDICATOR
The Blue colour confirms normal operation and Red indicates an operation alert which is clearly visible from a distance to alerting the operator that the printer is not functioning, keeping production downtime to a minimum.

EXTRA WIDE PRINTHEAD OPENING
The CL6NX has a head opening spanning a massive opening 60° allowing for easy access for media loading, cleaning, and faster maintenance resulting in reduced downtime.
EASY SETUP
Simple label settings with the synchronised label guide. The Sato® CL6NX uses a label damper system which reduces set time and provides consistent tension to avoid label jams to reduce unwanted downtime and increase production whilst improving print quality.
SETUP AND MAINTENANCE VIDEOS
Tutorial and How To videos can be displayed on the 3.5" full colour LCD which will guide the operator through a variety of situations from media loading to cleaning the printhead.
TOUGH METAL HOUSING
Protects against damage in the field ensuring that the CL6NX can print the most complex of labels in the toughest of environments.
ALUMINIUM DIE-CAST CHASSIS
Key parts such as the chassis, front cover, ribbon spindles and print unit are of aluminium die-cast construction enabling the CL6NX to withstand the most challenging environments.
TOOL-LESS REPLACEMENT PARTS
Provides quick replacement of both the print head and platen roller with no tools required, which provides easy maintenance. This effectively reduces any unwanted downtime saving your company money and ensuring that you meet those all important deadlines.
INTERFACES
The interfaces are designed such that cables do not protrude from the rear of the printer, reducing the risk of unintentional disconnection or damage.
RIBBON RE-WINDER
The oversized core provides stable rotating torque, reducing the chance of wrinkles ensuring the highest possible print quality every time. The state-of-the-art design allows for rolls of up to 600 Meters to be accommodated easily, increasing the amount of time between changes and label throughput.
LIFE TIME PARTS
The printhead and platen roller have been designed for double life time operation prolonging intervals between maintenance therefore reducing operating costs and downtime.
BI-FOLDING SIDE COVER
The design reduces the overall area required for operation allowing the NX Series to fit into restricted spaces and to be placed next to, or under objects while maintaining operational integrity.
30 DISPLAY LANGUAGES
The Sato® CL6NX has 30 easily selectable languages allowing printer operation in a variety of languages that can be easily selected with the touch of button making the CL6NX ideal for export industries and installation in other regions.
LARGE IN-BUILT MEMORY
Employing an extensive memory, the 30 display languages are installed as standard along with four printer language emulations which can be selected without having to reboot the printer saving on downtime and increasing production output.
PRINTABLE LANGUAGES
The CL6NX offers native support for printing the major languages of the world allowing the user to print all 30 display languages plus others.
VARIOUS FONTS
A rich selection of embedded bitmap and True Type Fonts are available as standard in addition to the ability to download additional True Type Fonts. The CL6NX also supports DOS and Windows codepages, WGL4 (Windows Glyphs), Big 5 (Chinese), JIS, UTF 8 and UTF 16.
PRINT ACCURACY
The Sato® CL6NX boast a +/- 1mm Print registration, accurately controlling the print positioning ideal for small sized labelling applications.
LABEL TENSION DAMPER SYSTEM
The state-of-the-art Label Tension Damper System, allows for continued stable label feeding to the printhead even at the 10 inches per second maximum print speed.
PRINTHEAD HIGH-ENERGY MODE
Ensures the best print quality over a wide range of media materials.
STANDARD EMULATIONS ON-BOARD
The CL6NX is equipped with four on-board Emulations provided as standard: SZPL, STCL, SDPL and SIPL, making it ideal for the direct replacement of existing printers.
JUST CONNECT AND PRINT
The Sato® CL6NX recognises various print data languages, switching automatically to print the label instantaneously.
USB MEMORY
A USB memory stick becomes a convenient tool for downloading additional True Type Fonts, latest firmware, emulation upgrades and copying printer settings. Additionally the emulation version can be upgraded easily through the front USB port.
BLUETOOTH
Built in as standard, Bluetooth connectivity allows easy wireless connection to your smart devices.
CONNECTIVITY
The CL6NX has several connectivity options are available including a Windows certified printer driver, SAP ABAP driver, CUPS drivers for Linux and iOS and the SATO AEP platform (Application Enabled Printing) for printing from Android devices.
STANDARD INTERFACES
Fitted as standard are LAN, USB (type A & B), IEEE1284, RS232C, Bluetooth and EXT.
OPTIONAL INTERFACES
